Origine
Each panel starts as an impression: found seeds, stones, and casts of my own hands and ears, pressed into a bed of kinetic sand. Concrete is poured into that mold and left to cure, tinted with black Hawaiian sand, sumi ink, or bengara pigment depending on the piece. Once set, each cast is sealed in wax. The result reads like something excavated — an artifact of a body and a landscape pressed together, then hardened.
